JSW Tuticorin Multipurpose Terminal Private Limited (JTMTPL) has signed Concession Agreement with V. O. Chidambarnar Port Authority (VOCPA) for Mechanization of North Cargo Berth-III (NCB-III) for Handling Dry Bulk Cargo at V.O. Chidambarnar Port on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis.
The Terminal is equipped with one Dry Bulk Cargo Berth NCB-III and has a capacity of 7.0 MMTPA. The Terminal when fully commissioned will be capable of handling all types of dry bulk cargos namely Coal, Coke, Limestone, Gypsum, Rock Phosphate, Copper Concentrate, etc. The terminal will be equipped with 2 no. of 2000 TPH Ship Unloader & Stacker of 4000 TPH.
