1999

JSW Infrastructure was founded to develop and operate key infrastructure assets, including airports, shipyards, roads, rail links, townships, and other critical facilities.

2002

Acquired AGB Goa Terminal and renamed it South West Port Limited, establishing the foundation of port operations and cargo handling services.

2004-2005

Commenced full-scale operations at SWPL, Goa with two terminals handling bulk and break-bulk cargo, building early operational scale.

2008

Executed the concession agreement to develop Jaigarh as a common-user multicargo port, strengthening long-term infrastructure development.

2010

Commenced commercial operations at Jaigarh Port, expanding maritime capacity on India’s west coast.

2012

Operationalised Dharamtar Port, improving coastal logistics and regional cargo connectivity.

2015

Secured concession to develop and operate the Iron Ore Export Terminal at Paradip Port, strengthening presence in bulk cargo handling.

2016

Awarded concession to develop the Coal Export Terminal at Paradip Port.

Commenced international O&M operations at Fujairah, marking entry into global port operations.

2017

Entered into an O&M agreement with the Port of Fujairah for two berths with a combined capacity of 24 MTPA.

2020

Signed concession for a container terminal at New Mangalore and commissioned the LNG terminal at Jaigarh.

Acquired three terminals in Ennore and New Mangalore.

Commissioned the Paradip Iron Ore Terminal.

2021

Commenced commercial operations at the Paradip Coal Export Terminal, enhancing east-coast cargo throughput.

2022

Entered agreement to operate a mechanised bulk handling terminal at Dibba, Fujairah with 17 MTPA capacity.

Commenced commercial operations at the New Mangalore Container Terminal.

2023

Listed successfully on the National Stock Exchange of India and Bombay Stock Exchange.

Acquired a large liquid storage terminal in Fujairah, UAE.

Acquired a majority stake in PNP Port.

Signed concession to develop a 30 MTPA greenfield port at Keni, Karnataka.

2024

Signed concession with the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority for two liquid berths.

Won bid for a dry bulk terminal in Tuticorin.

Entered integrated logistics through acquisition of Navkar Corporation and development of GCT Arakkonam.

Received Letter of Intent from the Maharashtra Maritime Board for Murbe Port.

2025

Acquired a 302-km slurry pipeline business, strengthening logistics integration.

Signed concession for Jatadhar Greenfield Port development.

Secured container terminal concession at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata.

Acquired a brownfield rail siding in Kudathini, Karnataka.

Entered agreement with Minerals Development Oman to develop and operate a 27 MTPA port.
