Climate action is central to how we operate and future-proof our assets. As an infrastructure company with energy-intensive operations, we are actively reducing greenhouse gas emissions while strengthening climate resilience across our ports, terminals and logistics ecosystem. Guided by our Sustainability Strategy and a clear commitment to achieving Net Neutrality by 2050, we focus on improving energy efficiency, increasing renewable energy adoption and transitioning to cleaner technologies.
In FY2025, we reduced specific Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions to 0.83 kgCO₂e/TCH, while renewable energy consumption increased to 22.56% (22,841 MWh). We also achieved over 90% waste recycling and reduced specific freshwater consumption to 4.0 litres/TCH at key locations. Through annual carbon footprint assessments, quantified emission reduction targets, supplier engagement and community initiatives, we continue to mitigate climate risks, adapt to emerging impacts and align our actions with India’s national climate commitments.
