Local considerations are integral to JSW Infrastructure’s sustainability approach, shaping how we engage with communities and stakeholders across our operations. Through a structured Stakeholder Engagement Framework applied at site and supply chain levels, we build transparent and inclusive relationships with those directly and indirectly affected by our projects. Social Impact Assessments, conducted as part of Environmental Impact Assessments for new developments, help identify and mitigate potential impacts on local communities.
We place special emphasis on recognising and supporting vulnerable and marginalised groups, including indigenous peoples and local tribes, by addressing their specific needs and concerns. Regular community meetings enable open, two-way dialogue to understand local expectations, while capacity-building programs empower affected stakeholders to participate meaningfully in decision-making.
