India’s east-coast iron ore gateway, Paradip Terminal, was commissioned in 2020 under long-term BOT operations. Designed as a fully mechanised facility, it is equipped with stackers and stacker-cum-reclaimers, interlinked conveyor systems, and deep-draft capability that allows Capesize vessels to be loaded within 48 hours. The terminal comprises two high-capacity ship loaders and is supported by both tandem wagon tippler and single wagon tippler systems for efficient rail cargo handling.
